ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Jenna Hussein
Jenna graduated with honors from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Arts (BA). Later, she pursued a dual Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Stanford University and Masters in Public Administration (MPA) at Harvard University.
Jenna brings 10 years of experience to Columbia Street Partners with expertise in technology and operations. She specializes in identifying and accelerating businesses poised for long-term success.
At Google, Jenna led product launches, go-to-market, and strategy for Google Maps, Climate and Sustainability, and a moonshot product that provided Internet to off-grid parts of the world with stratospheric balloons. At Adobe, she led Product Marketing to accelerate the growth of Document Cloud in emerging markets.
Earlier in her career, as part of Sanergy’s leadership team, she managed hundreds of employees across sales, maintenance, and engineering to implement technological and operational systems. They transformed waste collection for 140,000 residents of informal settlements in Nairobi, Kenya by reducing toilet repair times from seven days to just one, and doubled the network of toilets without increasing staff.
Previously, in her first job out of college as an Economic Consultant at Analysis Group, she consulted to clients in healthcare and insurance industries, and started a nonprofit consulting practice from the ground up to serve 13 nonprofit clients across 6 countries including a healthcare clinic in Haiti and an education nonprofit in Tanzania.

Jenna is based in Los Angeles and loves exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods with her friends and family in her free time. Her favorite pastime is dancing salsa - she performs at local festivals with her team, Divinas Dance Company, in Santa Monica.
